Keira was never leaving her dorm again. At least not until she went home. Then she could pull an Areik an never come back.

Her room was a mess, the result of a fit of rage followed by depression. The only thing left of her sheets was a pile of ripped up rags sitting next to the bed, she was curled up on.

Keira had changed too. The natural glow from being a Siren had diminished greatly. The two demons that usually resided in her couldn’t stand the condition she was in, and had politely moved out of her body for the time being.

Ignatius had tired of the moping and gone away to inhabit one of the kitchen fireplaces, leaving his cohort Electro to stay with her.

Not that she needed it. One look at her and one would presume she was dead.
